JAYASRI KAREM – Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Dr. Jayasri Karem, MBBS, MS (OBG), is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over 14 years of dedicated clinical practice in women’s healthcare. She completed her MBBS (2001–2007) from Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences and pursued her MS in Obstetrics & Gynecology (2009–2012) from Guntur Medical College. Further strengthening her expertise, she completed a Fellowship in Laparoscopy and NDVH in 2023 and holds a FOGSI-certified course in Obstetric & Gynecological Ultrasonography. Her strong academic background and advanced surgical training enable her to provide comprehensive and modern gynecological care.

As a gynecologist, Dr. Jayasri specializes in managing high-risk pregnancies, providing meticulous antenatal care, and conducting normal vaginal deliveries, instrumental deliveries, and cesarean sections with a strong emphasis on maternal and fetal safety. She is well-versed in treating a wide range of gynecological conditions, including adolescent gynecological issues, post-menopausal problems, infertility management (Ovulation Induction and IUI), and female contraception. She also has expertise in minimally invasive gynecological procedures and laparoscopic surgeries. Dr. Jayasri has contributed to academic research with publications on ovarian torsion in premenarchal girls, reflecting her commitment    to advancing women’s health knowledge. She is currently practicing at Pranaam Hospitals, where she continues to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care to women across all stages of life.
