Dr. I.V.N. Kiranmaye is a highly accomplished Pediatrician and Neonatologist with over 18 years of extensive experience in advanced newborn and child care. She completed her MBBS, followed by DCH and DNB (2014), and further enhanced her expertise with an IAP Fellowship in Neonatology from the Indian Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a BPNI-certified Lactation Consultant through the Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India. Certified in Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS). Dr. Kiranmaye is currently practicing at Pranaam Hospitals, where she is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and family-centered neonatal and pediatric care.
Her core expertise lies in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), with specialization in managing extremely preterm newborns from as early as 24 weeks of gestation. She is skilled in providing gentle ventilation strategies and managing complex neonatal conditions such as sepsis, shock, seizures, perinatal asphyxia, multiorgan dysfunction, and neuroprotective care to ensure the best possible long-term developmental outcomes. Dr. Kiranmaye is proficient in advanced NICU procedures including intubation, mechanical ventilation, surfactant administration, umbilical arterial and venous catheterization, PICC line placement, chest drain insertion, TPN preparation, exchange transfusion, and peritoneal dialysis. She also provides specialized post-operative care for high-risk neonatal surgical cases, ensuring` stability and early recovery.
In addition to critical care, she offers comprehensive services in breastfeeding and infant nutrition counseling, vaccination guidance, and growth and developmental assessments. Her academic contributions include publications on non-traumatic clinical conditions and the clinico-etiological profile of neonatal seizures in term neonates, reflecting her ongoing commitment to neonatal research and excellence in pediatric healthcare.
