Abdominoplasty or popularly known as a tummy tuck is a major surgical procedure that removes the excess skin and fat from the abdomen. It is used to tighten the muscles and is a sought after procedure by women post-pregnancy or who have lost a lot of weight.

A combination of procedures are performed to achieve the desired results on a patient’s face: rhinoplasty, chin implant, cheek implants and brow lift.

Facelift or rhytidectomy is a cosmetic surgical procedure commonly used to achieve a younger appearance in the patient’s face. The process reduces sagging on the cheeks and jawline and other changes in the shape of the face that develops with age. A neck lift or a platysmaplasty is usually performed alongside a facelift to reduce sagging skin on the neck.

If traditional treatments don’t yield the desired results to combat hair loss, hair transplantation is usually recommended by a surgeon. This is a long, arduous procedure usually taking up to 8 hours, involves taking hair and skin from one area of the head and moving it to another, providing a more natural look.

Botox treatment is minimally invasive, performed with the use of an injectable muscle relaxer to temporarily paralyse the muscle, thereby reducing the appearance of facial wrinkles. Considered a safe method to treat fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and is also used on the forehead between the eyes.

Mandible tumours and cysts that develop in the jawbone or the soft tissues in the mouth and face are relatively rare. These growths are noncancerous. However, if left untreated, the tumours will likely spread to other parts by invading the surrounding bone and tissue and may displace teeth. This condition can be treated by surgery followed by medical therapy.
